Yesterday's positive Industrial and Manufacturing Production figures were taken very well ahead of the EU Referendum amidst fears of an economic slowdown. With the latest polls suggesting that the 'Leave' campaign is gaining support, demand for gold bullion bars and gold coins is rising as "Brexit" is now seen to be a real possibility.

American Elections

In the US, former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has made history with big election wins on Tuesday in California and elsewhere. Should she be elected on Nov 8, the Clinton family would return to the White House after 16 years.

Today

This morning we await the UK Trade Balance figures, which are expected to remain unchanged at -11.20B and later today we see the release of the US Initial Jobless Claims which is expected to rise up to 270K from 267K.
